Hans-Boeckler-Platz 1-3, Cologne
Best NL cuisine in town
Always very friendly, the food, as usual, extremely tasty. The tastiest deep fryer in Cologne. Also pre-orders for collection on time, correct and problem-free.
Very good food. Very nice staff and atmosphere ??
Belgian beer and great fries.
Best Dutch snacks and delicious Belgian beer. Great service, always friendly staff
Good selection of food and drinks. Very nice staff. A star deduction, as I would have expected a little more unique selling proposition for the price. Had french fries with frikandel special as I'm a big fan of the dish. For other dishes, a visit is probably more worthwhile :)
Nice place to sit outside, friendly service, food is snack quality
A nice location. The staff and the boss are nice. Delicious meal. Always happy.
Very tasty Belgian fries and a variety of Belgian beers. It's nice to sit outside.
Huge selection of Belgian and Dutch beers and great fried foods galore. Plus friendly service - perfect!
Great Belgian atmosphere, very cozy, great staff, delicious food and a large selection of Belgian beers. Perfect!
If you can fry it you can eat it! Super tasty French fries with a large selection of sauces. Lots of great beers with it.
Ingenious Dutch cuisine with high quality, extremely nice staff and reasonable prices. Plus a huge selection of interesting drinks?
The service at María Eetcafe is terrifying! Thinking ahead, always a funny saying and just damned first. In addition, the best beers and delicious French fries. You don't need more. ?
Highly recommended place to try beers from its extensive menu, predominantly Belgian and Dutch. As for the food, the most characteristic thing they offer are the french fries, but they also have Flammkuchen, croquettes and some tapas-style cheeses. The terrace is as large as the premises and the service is quite fast.
personnel quite stressed and borderline unfriendly. the food is ok...for fried dutch stuff. the dessert list sadly includes only aple pie. right next to the train & subway stops, but a bit noisy if u sit outside, cause it's right at the corner of a very busy crossroad!
Large selection of delicious Belgian beers, some on tap. In addition, extremely delicious French fries (definitely try them!) With a selection of delicious sauces. There are also other Belgian dishes such as frikandel. Nice service and nice boss.
My first time here and for sure not my last. We had Pommes Atoom Oorlog, Frikandel Speciaal, Kibbelings, Lucifer Speciaal, Pommes and Chicken nuggets. Allthow I had a hard time really tasting the Sate saus like I am used too from Holland they really made it taste quite good, I ate more Pommes than normal ;-) The Kibbelings were from good quality, my wife said she really liked them. The only thing the Germans somehow don't want to do is: Frikandel Speciaal make a cut in it in length where the speciaal comes in. ;-) Btw self made very good pommes, friet, ?
Great selection of freshly tapped beers, delicious little things to eat, top service!
If you want to eat delicious fried Dutch specialties and also like drinking beer, this is the place for you.
I really like this place. So many great beers on tap and in the bottle. The Kölsch is set at a great price. The fries and dips are fantastic and the atmosphere is really cool. I've been there often and always enjoyed the place.
I only tried the chips and they were pretty great. Next time I'd order more!
One of the best places to go in the Belgische Viertel. The small concerts of local sing and songwriters are absolutely great!!!
30 minutes for frites.
Great range of beer, fresh chips and sauces, fun deco and friendly staff. Found this place on a walk and keep going back. Would definitely recommend!
Very nice and friendly service, fair prices, good 'fast food'
I've lived soooo close to this place for two years now and didn't know it was here. They have a great selection of good beer and a comfortable atmosphere. Wish I had found it sooner.
I am sorry to give a bad review but I had a bad experience just now. I parked my bike outside and came in for a drink and food, sat down, and was told to move my bike. I was given a vague reason - something about how it was too close to their outside tables (it wasn’t, trust me) and that they pay for that space (Um, ok, and I’m paying to be here...) I asked her politely in German that no one was out there and could I please move it if people come, and she said no. So I went and moved my bike.....by riding away and not giving them my business. It’s a shame that such a small thing could ruin my image of a place I used to like, but bad customer experience in Germany is my ultimate pet peeve (it happens too often here) and I was going to be a paying customer - you don’t treat customers that way on principle!
Belgian beer and dutch food... How could you go wrong?
I recommend this place! Delicious fries and good beer! Also the staff is very friendly!
Very friendly and amazing beer selection. One of my favorite places to get a good beer
I just love it. It's a gem for me. quite big, unique...the decoration and atmosphere. The staff are very friendly. Great selection of Belgian beers and Belgian snack foods. The chips ( pomme frites) are a must. Lots of space outside too.
Delicious Dutch snacks. Cozy seating.
Super delicious fries! Ambiance is okay. Prices for food and especially beer high.
Friendly place, nice and competent staff.
Really nice shop, nice service and a huge selection of Belgian and Dutch beers. We will be back definitely!
Wanna feel a part of belgium in Köln? Just go to say hi at Maria :)
Very unfriendly staff, would speak to us in a bad manner several times so that we left
Good,
beer ok
Weird setting, dinner area and bar were very seperated and felt like a completely different place. Staff was ok but not very inviting.
Absolutely my favorite place in Cologne. I could go here every day. Super cozy atmosphere and quirky interior that makes you feel like you're drinking Belgium's finest beers in someone's living room. Of course it's even better to sit outside in the summer. A constantly changing selection of craft and Abbey brews ensure you never get bored. If that isn't your thing they also have good Kölsch on tap or bottled Lager from the Netherlands. Some may find the selection of dutch food limited, but I consider them snacks rather than dinner, and they are tasty. Lastly the staff is super nice and are accommodating both for our frequent group of 10 as well as special requests. If the beer prices seem high to you, well, quality costs. But you can always drink Kölsch which is priced normally for the area (almost cheap).
If you love Dutch fried snacks and Belgian beers, this is the place to be!
A local bar that has the best pommes frites around. It has a wide selection of cold Belgian beers to accompany its deep fried Belgian snacks. This place is dog friendly, has a charming staff/team, and is situated close to public transport (trains and underground). They have game day sports viewings on occasion.
Have you been so long in Cologne that you fancy something else than Kölsch. This is the place for you with a variety of Belgium beers and food if you dare.
Decent selection of Belgian beers and good fries.
Nice cafe, but food is not healthy, lots of fried snack foods. Fries and dipping sauces are really good. If you go on a Sunday make sure to try their Belgian Waffel, it’s homemade and absolutely delicious. Good selection of Belgian beer and of course they serve Kölsch too. Servers are always super friendly!
Regulary visited for Belgian beer. They serve very good fries
Best pub in town. Friendly staff, perfect chips and the best beer of the world. Chimay bleue.
Best place for great Belgian Beer if Kölsch is not your thing ;) also delicious belgian fries. Service is super friendly and they always offer good advice on beer
